Wassmer-Log Band Saws, extremely solid design,

Machining of large logs with comparatively small wheels (roundwood diameter up to 1000mm (40“) on WBS-1300).
The use of thin saw blades minimizes the cutting waste.
Hight cutting speeds possible up to 100 m/s. Feed speeds up to 120 m/min. depending on wood species and cutting heights.
Blade strain free of maintenance, independent from temperature, constant, and compensazes length-alterations without delay. No Stick-Slip effect.
Wear-resistant pressure guides guarantee a precise cut.

The electronical blade-deviation control reduces the feed speed, when lateral deviation extends set limits. This enables a maximum feed, depending on sharpness-status of the blade, as the control is done without any dely in real time (option).
Saw-wheels are stress-relieved, precise grinded and balanced, the bearing is done with self-aligning roll bearings. High precision smooth and running is guaranteed for years. The wheels are cleaned with scrapers and soaked felt.
All adjustment functions are done with the latest servomotor-technology, precise and fast. Compact and modular design is space-saving and enables the removal and extension of the plants without any problems.
Spezial foundations are not required, the loading capacity of the floor should be approx. 1500 kg/m².
