WNS Multi Blade Saw

The Wassmer multiblade circular saw (WNS) is constructed modularly and is operated after the frame saw or the log band saw. The 3-D measuring device scans the module and records the thickness, width, length and the shape of the wood wane. These data are transmitted to the computer. Due to the cut optimization, the module is aligned in the positioning and centering device in front of the multiblade circular saw and this alignment can be fiber parallel or centered on the middle. In the multiblade circular saw, the wanes are chipped and then the module is rip sawed by double shaft or single shaft cutting depending on the thickness. The position of the chippers and the circular saw blades is fully variable and controlled by the computer.
