WHS Main Circular Saw

The Wassmer main circular saw (WHS) is used to rip saw the round timber up to diameter of 600mm. After the 3D-measurement, the round timber is positioned in front of the main circular saw oriented on the middle. In one pass, initially machining is done on the bottom and top then on the sides and then cutting is done using a double shaft corresponding to the number of the circular saw blades (4 to 16) and this is done fully variable. In the model with a cant return, the cants can be rip sawed again. For small sized timber up to the diameter of 360mm, the WHS-360 can be used while for large timber up to a diameter of 1000mm band saw (WHS-1000) are used instead of circular saws.
